Our story

Hello! My name is Michele, and I am the owner/flower farmer at Dandelion Acres. I am also a mom of two young girls, a registered dental hygienist, and a dreamer.

My dream is to raise my children simply and to show them how work hard, but live slowly - and to never forget to stop and smell the flowers. I am incredibly lucky to call the this place home, and to have built our dream home on the North Shuswap mountainside. We have one dog, two miniature donkeys and two alpacas on our farm too - I am sure to continue to add to our funny farm over the coming years too…so stay tuned.

During my first season of flower farming, I am focusing on growing pretty flowers for your enjoyment at home, the office or to spoil someone you love. Future seasons are sure to bloom into something even more magical and beautiful, as I grow to include flower subscriptions, u-pick events, flower festivals, photography opportunities, yoga in the flowers…you name it, I’m dreaming it!
